THE PARSIS OF CALCUTTA
A Documentary Short Film.
The effervescent community of Parsis, is unfortunately a dwindling one. This film, in its 21 minute duration, looks at the community in Calcutta- its believes, problems, and worries- all through the eyes of 3 generations of Parsi Women.
Is the community restrictive in mixing with others?
Is it enclosed from public? Are they staunchly patriarchal?
The film delves into each of these questions, and more- while acutely realising in its runtime- 'they have a minute left'.
Directed-Edited & Written for the Screen, by Me.
